IS FOOD PROVIDED AT ROCKY TOP?
Yes, we provide Diamond Naturals chicken and rice formula dog food at no additional cost. We do recommend bringing your pet's food to prevent any stomach upset. Food from home, per state law, must be in a resealable container. Individual servings in ziplock baggies work great! Please be sure to label with your pet's name.
DO WE HAVE TO BRING FOOD AND WATER BOWLS?
No, stainless steel food and water bowls are provided for each pet.
MAY I BRING TOYS OR BEDDING FOR MY PET?
If you have an expensive dog bed, leave it at home. Dogs behave differently when they are boarding and can sometimes shred their bedding. If you plan to bring bedding, make sure it can be easily laundered, no large stuffed beds. Kennel decks, cots and fleece blankets are provided for your pet's comfort. If you bring toys, we suggest Nylabones, Kongs, tennis balls and so forth. Plastic toys and stuffing pose a choking hazard. Please leave those type of items at home.
WHAT IF MY PET HAS FLEAS?
We take pride in offering our guests a clean and safe environment. No pet with fleas will be permitted to board at Rocky Top Kennel. Your pet must be on a flea and tick preventative prior to arrival. If fleas or ticks are found on your pet, treatment will be given at the pet owner's expense.
WHAT IF MY PET BECOMES SICK OR INJURED WHILE STAYING AT ROCKY TOP?
If we determine your pet needs veterinary attention, you will be notified immediately and promptly take your pet to the veterinarian. We do not charge to take your pet to the vet however you will be responsible for any vet charges.
CAN MY PET BE GROOMED WHILE AT ROCKY TOP?
Yes, we offer full grooming for small to medium sized dogs only. Any size dog can receive an exit bath and/or nail trim.
7. WHAT IF MY PET IS ON MEDICATION?
We will gladly administer prescription medication to your pet at no cost.
8. WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?
No problem. Please give us a call and we can cancel your booking. During peak holiday times, we require a 50% deposit. Holiday cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled day of drop off or your deposit will NOT be refunded.
